COMMISSIONER OF GEOLOGY AND MINING
The Commissioner of Geology and Mining (CGM), working under the Industries and Mines Department (Government of Gujarat) is responsible for mineral administration, mineral exploration & enforcement activities in the mineral sector of the State. CGM is responsible for the auction of mineral blocks in Gujarat. CGM Office is getting the preparatory work done for putting up mineral blocks on auction and thereafter conducting auction of minor mineral blocks.
CGM Auctioning Monitoring System
The CGM Auction Monitoring system is a web based monitoring portal that shall support the zonal and district users for creation and maintenance of the mineral block master database and update of the progress of each block under the pre-auction, auction and post-auction stage by the respective districts.
